We’ve got experience managing a whole range of projects; like whole farm planning, irrigation system assessment and upgrades, feedlot planning, design, and construction, boat ramps and retaining walls and more!
Who do we work with?
RRID’s clientele includes family farms around the Riverina and Northern Victoria, as well as large Australian agricultural companies such as Kimberley Agricultural Investment, Australian Food & Agriculture, and the Twynam Pastoral Company.
We provide our services to individuals, small companies, major corporations, Federal, State and Local Government departments, developers, architects, planners, drafting services, solicitors, engineers, project managers, builders, real estate agents, property managers, construction contractors, and more!
Right now we are working on projects as close to us as Barmah and Elmore, and as far away as Western Australia and Indonesia!
What equipment do we use?
Our surveys are completed with either Trimble GPS or Total Station equipment, to determine locations and levels to a high accuracy. We can also complete surveys using drones, and although the accuracy isn’t as precise as conventional GPS, drones allow us to survey areas that can’t be accessed via conventional methods.
Once our surveys are complete, we input that data into AutoCAD Civil 3D, which is what we use to draw up all of our designs.

Design
Here at RRID all of our staff are experienced in different areas of design. Whether you have a farm that you want irrigated, a feedlot that you want built, or land that you want subdivided to sell, we have the capabilities and connections that you need.
Surface & Spray Irrigation
There is more to spray irrigation than just the machine, RRID can look at your farm’s unique layout and help you to make the right purchases of irrigation hardware, pumps, and pipes, as well as managing the set up and maintenance of your system. See our Irrigation Hardware Sales & Services page for more information.
Irrigation Infrastructure
Channel and drain modelling, water storages, pumps and pipelines, field grade mapping and design, and all associated earthworks.
Feedlot Design
RRID can design feedlots and everything they encompass; paddocks and cattle-yards, irrigation and drainage, effluence management, feeding systems and food storage, sheds and stables, and anything else your feedlot could require. We can also facilitate the earthworks and construction for your project, if required.
Civil Engineering
As well as specialising in irrigation infrastructure and feedlot design, RRID can provide our civil engineering services for other agricultural, industrial or residential projects. We have worked on retaining walls, roads, ramps, carparks and pavements, drainage systems, and more!
