After buying a new property, RRID were contacted by owner Bryan to assess his land and complete a whole farm plan. We undertook a whole farm survey and completed an assessment of the existing irrigation infrastructure; with that information we generated a proposed development plan and quickly moved on to design and construction. This project included the installation of a Bauer 720-metre Centerfeed Linear Move Irrigator, 100-megalitre on-farm storage and associated supply and drainage infrastructure.

Initially, Bryan established a summer crop of corn under the machine, which performed in excess of his expectations. He has since established permanent Lucerne under the irrigator, which is used for both Lucerne hay and grazing for sheep.
