Rich River Irrigation Developments has over 30 years experience in the area of Flood Irrigation Design and Survey, and there is in excess of 70 years collective experience in the company.

Russell Healey - Managing Director and founder of Rich River Irrigation Developments.
Russell started surveying in 1967 in Echuca and Deniliquin with R.W Veitch & Assoc Consulting Surveyors. In 1981 he started his own practice which has grown to its current healthy state. Russell is a founding member of the Spatial Sciences Institute and the ISDG and IAA. With over 30 years experience in this field, Russell has mastered all the competencies involved with the water industry and is always eager to impart his immense knowledge to the betterment of every project the company is involved in.

Peter McCartney - Director
Peter has had over 25 years in the industry and has been a director of Rich River Irrigation Developments since 2004. Peter has had extensive training in spray and pump design and installation, and holds a diploma in irrigation technology. His main areas of expertise are in hydraulic computer modelling, pipeline design, water storage and data interpretation.

James McLaurin LS - Survey Manager
James is a surveyor licensed in both Victoria and NSW with over 20 years experience in land development both here and overseas. His current area of expertise is in cadastral surveys and is the firms' Health & Safety Manager and quality control officer. James has worked on a diverse range of projects including the introduction of laser grading technology to the cotton farms of Uzbekistan; the design and project management of the construction of a large scale vegetable farm in Shanghai China; Survey, design and construction set out of the Muckatah community drain which runs from Numurkah to Yarrawonga; and the construction set out of the new Echuca waste water treatment plant which included 24km laying of pipelines and a 3000mgl winter storage dam.
